What is Microneedling?

Skin Micro Needling, also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), has become very popular in the health and beauty industry as the effects can last over several months following a course of treatments—which is precisely why we find it essential to offer professional skin micro-needling training so our learners can offer this profitable procedure effectively to their clients. This hands-on practical and theory course will demonstrate the latest in skin rejuvenation techniques, providing you with a rich level of experience to integrate these unique treatment procedures into your skill set and/or beauty clinic.

The different types of micro-needling we teach are a way of improving clients’ skin conditions; the treatment has the effect of helping the skin rejuvenate quickly by healing and repairing itself rapidly. The technique is proven to create a smoother look to the skin and stimulate the result of a brighter, more youthful glow. We recommend a course of 3 treatments with 6–8-week intervals between sessions to achieve optimum results for your clients, however significant skin improvement is often noticed after just one treatment.

Primarily, clients seek skin needling treatments for the face, but the techniques can also be used on other particular areas of the body.
The process involves puncturing the skin with multiple needles to revitalize your complexion with a newer layer of skin. While the idea of perforating the skin with holes to improve its condition seems counterintuitive, these microscopic punctures prompt the skin’s healing process to kick in and encourages new collagen regrowth.

As skin micro-needling (which includes micro needling and the use of the Derma roller and Dermapen tools) is mainly used to regenerate the cells in the dermis layer of the skin, it helps fight the appearance of laxity, premature ageing, fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, and scarring caused by illness and acne.

Not only is skin needling training a successful and lucrative way to boost your beauty therapy career in the aesthetic industry, but we’re proud to be able to offer our students use of the latest technology and tools in skin needling too. With the correct knowledge and hands-on experience, you will be able to safely perform skin rejuvenation procedures to clients and dramatically help then to improve the quality of their complexions.

We are an independent training company with specialist, expert educators and we teach the highest standard of health and beauty treatment service, knowledge, and practice for you to gain the confidence to perform this treatment effectively in the future.
